Codam in a nutshell

Codam is a full-time, free programming college in the heart of Amsterdam. At Codam, you learn to program like a pro within 3.5 years using our unique peer-to-peer educational model. No teachers, no books - just you and your peers learning from each other! We are a community for everyone, and we believe that no matter your background you can achieve anything at Codam.

Corinne Vigreux

Corinne Vigreux cofounded TomTom in 1992 and has also founded and financed Codam College, our peer-to-peer coding school, located in Amsterdam. It operates year-round, at all hours, teaching up to 700 students to increase social mobility and computer literacy.

“As a tech entrepreneur, I am very aware of the shortage of competent software engineers and digital visionaries. Not only do we need more people with the right skills, but having the right mindset, drive, and creativity are also essential.”

Vigreux is a very honourable art enthusiast. She was made Chevalier de la Légion d'Honneur in 2012, Officer in the Royal Order of Orange-Nassau in 2016 and reached the Forbes list ‘World’s Top 50 Women in Tech’ in 2018.

The art curators

Art curators are students who have an artistic background and share an interest in art as well as in tech.

For them, it is an opportunity to bring those two worlds closer. While pursuing a career in software development, being a part of the art curators team allows them to stay connected with their artistic side.
